Ky & Charlie: Maternity Session

This is my beautiful sister, Kyleen, we took her maternity photos while I was home at the end of August. Just in time because baby Charlie was born 9-6-2010. Yes, on Labor day! I just love how bright and sunny her photos turned out. She looks absolutely gorgeous and I love all of them.

We did some engagement photos in February but we wanted to do a second session during August. We did this session at University of St. Thomas (my alma mater as well as Brittany’s). Jon is also getting his Master’s there at St. Thomas and in some of the photos they are actually standing in the spot where he asked her to marry him! They live right down the road so this location was very fitting! Their wedding photo preview is next. Enjoy, Samantha

We took these photos in Downtown Wayzata and these were my personal favorites from our time together. I think they capture who Melanie and Robbie are as a couple because not all of them are too posey (if that’s a word!) I am so excited for their wedding at the beginning of October! I’ve known this family for awhile now and I love photographing them because they always turn out so beautiful! I couldn’t decide I love them so much so here is a large sneak peek. 
ONE of my FAVORITES!
Running through the lawn. Climbing trees. Blowing kisses. Multi-colored nail polish. Rope Swings. Ohhh to be a kid again. Can you tell I loved the session by how many photos I put up? It reminded me of a simpler time and it was so fun capturing Zoe be a kid.
