Farewell North Carolina!

Posted on September 15, 2011

Hello everyone,

I just thought I would post one more blog entry before the movers come to get our stuff and the Internet is turned off ( I still have the trusty iPhone to check emails). We will be leaving this weekend and may never be back in Fayetteville. We are ready to leave  though and go on a new journey but it’s also going to be a lot of change. I started my photography business here back in 2009 and more importantly we started our family here when our son was born in 2010. This town will always hold a place in my heart but it wont be because of Fayetteville itself but because of all the people and memories we made here. Thank you to all my awesome clients who continued to come back to me through the years. I was so happy to photograph your growing families!

Enjoy your weekend and please keep in touch, Samantha

Here is a photo of our son enjoying his last trip to the beach:

6 kids and a doberman: family session

Posted on September 13, 2011

Hello and happy Tuesday!

I arrived over to their house right after dinner time and first we hung out by the pool taking casual photos. I was happy for this time to get to know all 8 of them plus, Jackson, their Doberman Pinscher. I loved the relaxed beginning to our session and then they changed into their photo outfits. They each picked something comfortable to wear and I LOVED all the bright colors they chose. Everything just worked together and the lighting was just bright & perfect! I have become accustom to chasing my 1 year old son around for photos and this was truly a breath of fresh air. They were such a cooperative group and I hope they enjoy these photos as much as I do. This was a unique session that will stand out in my mind for years to come.

Enjoy the photos and your Tuesday,

Samantha

the “S” family: family session

Posted on September 7, 2011

I have taken their photos for two years now, this was our 4th & final (before our Arizona move) session. We went to the Cape Fear Botanical Garden in Fayetteville and we had such a fun time exploring around the garden. They had renovated the garden since I had last been and it was just gorgeous. Please click the links below to see past family photos and homecoming photos. This photo session marks another deployment and I am so glad I was able to capture these photos for them.
