Happy Halloween!

Dean and his cousin, Charlie, are going to be Buzz Lightyear and Sheriff Woody from Toy Story this year. We were lucky enough to have my sister and Charlie visit right around Halloween time! They wouldn't sit still so it was difficult to get photos together in costume. See below for our attempt at getting them to sit together. What characters they are!

Hello!
We went hiking by our house the other night to watch the sun go down. This was my husband’s bright idea to hike up the side of this mountain with two dogs and a baby! We made it to the top and it was definitely worth it for the views.
Hope you enjoy these photos too, Samantha

We had other stops along the way from NC—>Louisville, KY—-> Kansas City, KS—->Colorado Springs, CO —-> Albuquerque, NM—> to our final destination in Arizona! We were so happy to make it to our new temporary home and we are excited to continue to explore this new place. Hope you are having a nice day!

“Home is wherever I’m with you…” -Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros

Our new house in Arizona! We are renting on base since we are only here for a quick course! I can't say I mind the view from our front porch (see below)!
This Arizona move has been a big change for our little family! Also, it was quite the road trip getting out here with a 1 year old and 2 dogs! We made it though and are getting all settled in. I don’t know quite what the next 8 months holds for Samantha H. Photography. What I do know is that I am appreciating the slower place and I welcome this break to recharge. Of course I am still going to continue offering my photo services down here (& Minneapolis next Summer) but I am going to take full advantage of this down time.
I want to spend more time on personal photos as we explore this new area on little weekend trips. We have a lot of traveling to accomplish before we move out of here and we need to spend as much family time as possible because with the Army you never know what’s coming next! So if you need me I’ll be down in Arizona…enjoying this amazing view! I do miss all of you in Fayetteville (and of course Minneapolis—I’ll see you again!) and thank you for helping this little business grow. Keep in touch!
Stay tuned for some NC —> AZ road trip photos!
If you haven’t already you need to go to iTunes and purchase this catchy tune. Or you need to listen on their myspace page…the theme of our Southwest road trip and I guess the Army experience in general. Enjoy! http://www.myspace.com/edwardsharpe
