Samantha H. Photography is a lifestyle photographer located in Sierra Vista, AZ and Minneapolis, MN. I am a nothing but sunshine kind of operation; I use natural light at a location of your choosing (your favorite park or your home). I am originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota and will be scheduling visits several times throughout the year (please click on the highlighted link my calendar for MN photo trip dates).

I strive to always be creative and honest to the relationship of my photo subjects. Never making you pose too much and keeping the photos as candid as possible, there is a place for posed photographs but not the whole session. Not only is my light source of choice all natural but that goes for everything I do. I will never have canvas backdrops, no babies in buckets, no unnatural props, (meaning only props that belong to the family already, I wont bring any with me).

I believe in the come as you are approach, let the kids dress themselves (or not), wear bright colors (please do!), or whatever feels good to you. Just be who you are as a couple or a family, just kiss on each other and show me your family connection, who you would be if the camera wasn’t there.

Let me work my camera & editing magic to create a series of unique photographs to share for years to come. My main goal is to tell your story as your family grows in the most creative and honest way possible.


 I am always available to travel for wedding photography. I will make special trips home to Minneapolis if a wedding does not fall into my already scheduled travel plans. My husband is in the Army so we are never in one location for long but I will always be coming back to my homeland of Minneapolis! Because of this I only photograph a limited number of weddings a year but I would love to be there for your special day so please contact me as soon as you get engaged (congrats ahead of time!)
